Big thanks to Blogger.com for naming this one of their BLOGS OF NOTE. Above: the big party for new Blogs of Note inductees. (Actually that's Paris, about a month ago. Seated dinner for two hundred at the Opera House. I wore a velvet dinner jacket. I have no idea what I was doing there but the champagne was good and plentiful.)

I love all of the photos. I'm glad Blogger brought you to our attention. I read your article too. I can understand how the bewildering out-of-the-blueness of that accouncement could make you feel totally sucker-punched.
Anyway, I'm envious of all the travels although I'm sure it can be a struggle too.

I am new to this whole blog experience, but was just surfing some of the recommended blogs. I came across this picture and it stopped me in my tracks. What an amazing shot, really, and I am sure the experience was a jaw dropping as the picture.
