Tasting Japanese whiskies.

Probably if I lived here I would stop taking pictures in convenience stores of fluffy bread snacks. Probably.

Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) + Tsukemen (dipping ramen) = shirt stains, sweat.

Never heard of Japenese whisky...was it good? Great photos!
I"ve said it before and will say it again - what a good Life! I hope you are enjoying it, even with its ups and downs.
that fried pork looks delicious! and this is my first time to your blog, but i'm loving the your style and pics!
Where's the Vacationist these days? Making the most of the Sweet Spot, are we?
You're missed. Could use a dose of your funky sense of humor right now.
I second Eliezer. The sights? Virtual: smells, random-bizarre-comical-signs, (of course) food, beverage, blurbs?
Did A. Bourdain get jealous and threaten you offline? Did he hit you??? (Pork war?)
It's just that, through Swiss Mickey D's and Ital Dolomite polenta and heck even Tokyo- soy-skin-pulling...atop bar-hopping-worldwide... your pics and skimp words have been well anticipated and well enjoyed. You've a pretty good gift for transporting us mass' onto your plate or into your drink, and other curiosities. Missed scenery, missed words.
TV show?
Will accept fluff about hotdog/falafel/giro stands in NY.
